Hello everyone. My name is Brian Balfour and I am a 23 year old entrepreneur. To read about my history please visit the about section of this site, or you can read my entrepreneurship blog at http://www.brianbalfour.com.

Social Degree is aimed to be a blog about the extremely hot sector of online social networking. Ever since my first startup, Celestine Inc., I have taken special attention to the social networking scene. One of my first ever projects was a social networking site aimed towards college students. At that time MySpace and Facebook weren’t even alive. Now with major corporations such as Google, Microsoft, and News Corp entering social networking, the sector of SN is sure to change dramatically.

If you know of a new social networking site, please email it to me so I can review it and add it to the ever growing List. If you are the owner of a new social networking startup I would be more then happy to showcase your site on this blog.

    I really like the design of this site and what you have posted so far. I’ll definitely be around. By any chance would you be interested in partnering up if I get around to implementing a SN site? That is, of course, if it’s deemed worthy.
